The Juneau Artists Gallery is Juneau’s only artist-owned and operated cooperative gallery in the heart of downtown Juneau, Alaska. We specialize in local handmade craft and art, carrying the work of more than 20 artists based here in town who collectively own and operate the space. Artists volunteer time to staff the gallery and share responsibilities to conduct all aspects of the business — when you stop by to see us, you’ll get to meet one of the artists themselves!

Our Story
At the heart of Southeast Alaska's vibrant artistic community, the Juneau Artist's Gallery is a collaborative space that celebrates and nurtures the diverse talents of Juneau artists. Founded over 40 years ago, our co-op is a haven for creatives seeking a supportive environment to grow, collaborate, and showcase their work.
Our products
From wood-turned goods and relief prints to stained glass and jewelry, there's a little bit of something for everyone in this space. Our artists sell a range of many options from framed originals to reprints, offering a little bit of something for everyone across all budgets and tastes. Shipping is available for folks visiting from out of town!
Our artists
Our artists are the heart of our operation! As an artist-run gallery, you're guaranteed to meet one of our 20+ working artists at the front desk running the gallery. The benefit of our cooperative model of operation is that our artists are able to keep 90% of the commissions on each sale! That means lower prices for you and more money directly into their pockets - a win-win across the board!

Cam Byrnes grew up in Wisconsin, and landed in Juneau over 30 years ago. He never looked back, though he sometimes misses cows. He first picked up a camera when he was 12, and has had one in his hands almost continuously since then.
​
While much of his work reflects the life of Southeast Alaska, he mixes in photographs from travels that have taken him to many places around the globe. He has never wavered in his joy of photography and plans to keep taking pictures until he has photographed everything.
